Modified polyamide 12 compound for extrusion of multilayer tubing

VESTAMID X7344 is a specially polymer modified compound based on polyamide 12 (nylon 12, PA 12).

VESTAMID X7344 is used as an adhesive to bond together VESTAMID (polyamide 12) and DYFLOR® (polyvinylidenefluoride PVDF) used e.g. in multilayer tubing 2000.1 (MLT 2000.1) developed by Evonik Degussa GmbH.

VESTAMID X7344 provides excellent bonding between the PVDF barrier layer and the polyamide 12 also in contact with fuels at elevated temperatures.

It has to be noticed that material data measured on test specimens of a separate compound do not provide sufficient information to draw conclusions on the final performance of the multilayer tubing.
