Conductive polyamide 12 for quick connectors

VESTAMID LX9107 is a specially modified reinforced PA 12 grade having been developed for injection molding and electrically conductive quick connect fittings.

Compared to commonly available conductive compounds VESTAMID LX9107 is characterized by lower melt viscosity and thus excellent processability in injection molding.

Conductive tubing systems with quick connectors consisting of VESTAMID LX9107 meet the requirements of the US automotive industry on conductive components in fuel systems as described in SAE J1645.

Further advantages of VESTAMID LX9107 are the characterizing properties of PA 12, e.g., low water absorption, good dimensional stability and nearly constant mechanical properties at changing ambient humidity.
